Mīharo Tiro is the client delivery portal of LivewireSolutions (NZ). This statement explains what personal information we collect through the portal, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- Your contact details. Your name and email address, so we can set up your portal account and stay in touch about your project.
- Your project answers. When you complete a questionnaire in the portal, we store your answers. These describe how your business works: your team, your processes, your tools, and what you want to improve.
- Files you upload. Documents, photos, sample quotes and similar files you choose to attach to a questionnaire or a project. Please only upload what is relevant to the project. If a file contains details about your own customers, we treat it with the same care as the rest of your information.
- Sign-in records. The portal uses emailed sign-in links instead of passwords. We store only a scrambled (hashed) version of each link token, plus when it expires and when it was first used.
What we use it for
One purpose only: delivering your project. Your answers and files inform the work we scope, propose and build for you. When you submit a questionnaire, a summary is emailed to us so we can act on it promptly. We do not sell your information, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for anything unrelated to your project.
Where it lives
Your information is stored on our servers in New Zealand, protected from public access. Encrypted copies are kept in our offsite backups so your project can survive a hardware failure. Notification emails are delivered through Brevo, our email service provider, which processes the message content needed to send them.
Cookies
The portal sets one session cookie so you stay signed in while you use it. There is no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking.
How long we keep it
We keep project information while your project and our working relationship are active. Records relevant to contracts and invoicing are kept for seven years to meet tax and record-keeping obligations, then disposed of.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. If you are ever unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
